The Twin Cities Jointly Interpret the Sentiment of China’sGreat Yu--Our Bureau was Invited to Participate in the Academic Exchange Activities of Great Yu Culture in Aba Prefecture

Invited by Aba Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Sichuan province, Yang Songzhou, the Mmember of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of our beaureau led some representatives to partcipate in the “Aba Prefecture Great Yu Cultural and Academic Exchange Activities and Launching Conference of National Tourism Resort Establishment Themed Carefree·Slow Life”. The representative members include the person in charge of the Department of Resources and Industry, leaders-in-charge of the Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of all districts, counties and cities, and the president of Jianhu Research Association.

Aba Prefecture Great Yu Cultural and Academic Exchange Activities and Launching Conference of National Tourism Resort Establishment Themed Carefree·Slow Life. At the exchange meeting, President of Jianhu Research Association Qiu Zhirong and president of the Dayu Association of Wenchuan County Luo Jinyong exchanged the painting of Great Yu’s Traces. At the same time, the experts at the conference gave introduction on subjects as follows, “How does Great Yu culture present or play a role in urban landscape”, “The core value and influence of Great Yu culture in Wenchuan”, “ How to package and promote the Legend of Yu, the national intangible cultural heritage project, with the help of the packaging of cultural connotation of Great Yu”, “The Inherent Relation Between Great Yu Culture and Ancient Shu Civilization”, “How can Great YuCulture Play the BiggestRole in Tourism Planning and Development for the Sake of the Close Relation Between Culture and Tourism”. “Introduction to the Establishment and Development of National Resorts”.

Before the meeting, the exchange team inspected the tourist center of Sanjiang Town, Shuimo Town, Xuankou Town, Yingxiu Town and the cultural and tourism integration sites of Tibetan-style Park, Recuperation Peninsula, Health Park, Square for Oath and Academy of Homeland Sentiment, Ski Resort Planning Exhibition Hall and Agricultural Products Exhibition and Marketing Center in Wenchuan.

Aba Prefecture (Wenchuan County) is the birthplace of Great Yu and Shaoxing City is the burial place of Great Yu. The two cities were deeply attached to each other because of the Great Yu. In recent years, Shaoxing and Aba Prefecture have frequent cultural and tourism exchanges and have established a solid friendship in promoting the cultural exchanges of Great Yu, and exploring, inheriting and promoting the integrated development of culture and tourism. “Yu and Xu Relation” between these two cities was therefore built in the process of inheriting and carrying forward the Great Yu culture.
