So, what is the Road of Tang Poetry?
The Road of Tang Poetry in eastern Zhejiang
In Zhejiang, there is such a road.
During the Tang Dynasty, poets who started from Qiantang River, bypassing Shaoxing, Yanxi River and Middle Shan County, and reached Tiantai, Xianju or Linhai blazed out a road across seven prefectures in eastern Zhejiang. This road features landscape and humanity and was later named the Road of Tang Poetry in eastern Zhejiang by Zhejiang scholars.

Yupu Village, Yiqiao Town of Xiaoshan District is considered an important origin of the Road of Tang Poetry in eastern Zhejiang. The Yupu Village today locates at the converge of Qiantang River, Fuchun River and Puyang River. During the Tang Dynasty, writers and poets went to the Yupu Lake from the west of Yiqiao Town and then shift to Shaoxing.
