East Lake in Shaoxing has been  recognized as the “the wonder of the lakes” by professionals in tourism industry because of its wonderful scenery with miraculous stones and caves.

I still remember the first time I visited East Lake. I toured around the lake by boat, bypassing the amazing stones and caves. It is said that without seeing Duke Tao Cave and Fairy Peach Cave closely, you can’t say that you have been to East Lake. The entrance of Taogong Cave only allows one boat to pass through. But when I came into the cave, I felt surprised because I found a fabulous world. Looking up at the sky, I felt so carefree and relaxed. Just then, a vivid picture of “watching the sky from a well” right in front of my eyes.

Being there in person and feeling the wonder of the lake , I can't help paying the praise to the wonderful workmanship of the nature. It is not exaggerated to say it is really a masterpiece.In East Lake, you can either tour by boat or climb up the mountain to have a cup of tea. There is a tea garden and a few teahouses s at the top. It feels very pleasant as you are standing at the top of the mountain. In spring, the plain scenery in the northeast of East Lake is a typical Jiangnan style that is rarely seen somewhere else. MeetShaoxing and meet the wonder of the lakes. East Lake in Shaoxing is really a good place with a lot of outstanding men coming forth in history.
