On June 9, workers are busy with picking the fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes and cucumbers , at the Base of Intelligent Agriculture Research Institute of Hangzhou University of Electronic Science and Technology in Lizhu, Keqiao District.
The base of Intelligent Agriculture Research Institute of Hangzhou University of Electronic Science and Technology covers an area of 35 mu, with 3,000 square meters of highstandarddouble-glazed greenhouseand 12,000 square meters of thin film multi-greenhouse. It is the city's firstfactory-style intelligent agricultural project for plants.
Professor Chen Kai of Hangzhou University of Electronic Science and Technology launched the project and led his team to do the work at the base. They innovateda new intelligent controlling system for the greenhouse. By making use of the sophisticated industrial controlling computer and microcomputercontrollingtechnology, they made the digital management and controlling possible. Unmanned work and remote monitoring and controlling is no longer dream.
