The Moonlight from the Lake Cast My Shadow and Accompany Me to Shanxi River

Li Bai once wrote: “ The Moonlight from the Lake Cast My Shadow and Accompany Me to Shanxi River” The ShanxiRiver here is the main stream of Cao'e river flowing through Shengzhou. Ancient Town Chongren,known as Xinghua Village in the past, is now often called Shanxi Family.

Chongren isa thousand-year old town where huge ancient buildings are connected as a whole, from which the legacy of the Song Dynasty and the characteristics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties can be captured.

When you enter Chongren, you will be surprised at the towering eaves, the blue flagstone, the cobbled road and the well-matched but disconnected old buildings Taimen.All that you see make you feel that the town is uniquely charming, elegant and mysterious.

Stepping on the pebble road feels like roaming in an imaginary old book. Humble as it is, the town is depicted as a young lady from a rich family, standing there quietly and seeing changes taking place everyday.
