Recently, Directors of the Bureau of Culture and Tourism attended a provincial meeting which was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
 Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture andTourism cooperates with Shaoxing Government to establish a tourism  promotion mechanism, seeking to jointly promote the cultivation of “Golden Business Cards of Tourism”.

The details are as follows:
 
一、Plan the programe of "East AsianCapital of Culture "
Shaoxing City should make every effort to create a "East Asian Capital of Culture" , which is special with Shaoxing flavor, Jiangnan charm, Chinese characteristics and international style. The Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism is responsible for directing the project of “Internationalization of Cultural Tourism”. Shaoxing is encouraged to participate in overseas cultural tourism promotion and outbound cultural activities.
二、Plan theprograme of "China's Best Tourism Destination City for Research and Study"
Shaoxing City should optimize the main tour brand for research- "Tour around Shaoxing by Following Textbooks " and further expand products such as drama, poetry, calligraphy, tea ceremony, human culture, landscape, rice wine, revolutionary research tour, etc.
三、Plan thethePrograme of “Tour Group ofCulture and Business”  
Shaoxing should focus on promoting the ancient city project of "One City and Three Former Residences", optimizing and upgrading the slowly-moving system, creating the cultural tourism IP of "Celebrating the New Year in Ancient City",
and building the ancient city into a 5A-level a tourism city.  .
四、Plan the thePrograme of “ Construction of Cultural Tourism Resort-the Sacred LandOrchid Pavilion"
Shaoxing City should strive to promote the planning and the construction of Orchid Pavilion, turning Orchid Pavilion into a national 5A-level tourist attraction.and a world calligraphy pilgrimage site and an international research tourism destination.

• Plan the thePrograme of "Tang Poetry Road in Eastern Zhejiang"

Xinchang County, the core city of Shaoxing, plans to construct "Tang poetry Theme-related” cultural tourism projects and facilities, such as “Tang poetry park”, “Tang poetry museum” and “Tang poetry post station” to create "A Famous Tang Poetry City in Eastern Zhejiang".
六、Constructthe Relic Park of the State of Yue and Declare the Relic Park of Song Mausoleums
Shaoxing City should promote the construction of the Relic Park of the State of Yue and the project of “Xi Shi's Hometown”. It should also be committed to the application and creation of the Relic Park Song Mausoleums, the National Archaeological Relic Park.

• Promote the Artistic Innovation of "Operas in Shaoxing"

Shaoxing City should carefully organize the “Yue Opera Art Festival”, promote the construction of the Yue Opera in Shenzhou, make every effort to protect and inherit the Shaoxing Opera and create the cultural tourism brand of “Operas in Shaoxing”.
八、Enhance the Influence of the Brand"Shaoxing Rice Wine"
Shaoxing City should highlight on promoting the Rice Wine culture, telling stories on Rice Wine, innovating Rice Wine products, building a town of Rice Wine and planning a route of “Rice Wine Tour”, making Rice Wine a symbol of Shaoxing City.
